In the kitchen, Carol chose green cabinets to offset the honey color of the logs. Initially she wanted a distressed look but, unable to find a contractor to distress the wood, settled on solid green. "Over time they'll probably get distressed by themselves," says Carol, who also added red accents to the kitchen. A dormer above the cabinets brings in natural light. |
